Who Has the Best Tasting Water in MS?

The Water Taste Contest is one of the most exciting activities. Water systems from Mississippi are invited to submit samples of their water for the competition. The First Place Winner will have a chance to have their water tasted nationally at the February 2011 NRWA Rally in Washington, DC.  Nine systems throughout the State entered the competition. The water was judged on the following criteria:

• Taste
• Clarity
• Odor

The Judges for the competition were Jackie Ponti with Rural Development, Harry Gong, Ms Department of Health State Revolving Fund Division and Dennis Sternberg, Arkansas Rural Water Association.  When the last taste test sample was judged and the ratings were calculated, the 2010 Water Taste Test Winner was announced.
